Sara spent three years as an assistant Cross Country Coach and four years as a Track & Field coach at the University of Great Falls. Prior to her position at UGF, she was the head cross country coach, for both the Boys and Girls programs, at Whitefish High School. She was an assistant at WHS for eight years prior to taking the head coaching position. In her first year, the Bulldog Boys won the Montana Class A State team title, the first ever boys XC title in the school’s history.
In her second year, the Lady Bulldogs earned a 2nd place State trophy. The Lady Bulldogs followed that up with a 2nd place trophies in her third and fourth seasons, as well. She takes care of the day to day operations of the camp, organizing cabin and van assignments, preparing meals, and assisting with sessions. Sara also manages all camp applications.
